Kaizer Chiefs 2018/19 Home & Away Kits
Kaizer Chiefs revealed their new home and away kits for the 2018-19 South African Premier Soccer League season. They are again made by Nike and feature bespoke looks. Interestingly, the new Nike Phantom Vision soccer boots were accidentally shown off in the release picture ahead of their expected drop in early August.
A bespoke look in the club’s famous colors, the Kaizer Chiefs 18-19 home kit is taxi gold with a unique black graphic pattern on the front. The Vodacom sponsor logo is on the front of the jersey, colored red and white.
Paying tribute to the team’s strong heritage, the away jersey is dominated by bold, regal purple – the club is considered royalty in African football and with strong and unbreakable tones, this powerhouse for the people has welcomed in fresh attire with a suitably powerful photographic delivery.
Commenting on the release, Jessica Motaung, Marketing Director at Kaizer Chiefs explained the launch of this kit, “our long-standing partnership with Nike has produced many distinctive kit designs that have become part of our history, and this year is no different”. “With the world celebrating the centenary year of Tata Madiba’s birth, we are sure that the former statesman would have been proud of this jersey just like his fondness of the Kaizer Chiefs jersey that he wore in 2002.”
Incorporating elements of fan fashion and bringing an off pitch feel to on pitch wears, the Kaizer Chiefs 18/19 kits are a statement for fresh football. A game with rhythm as well as good, expect this kit to be appreciated on a global level.
