As Roma 2018-19 Nike Home Kits Football Shirt
The new home shirt of the Italy Rome club 2018-19 season, inspired by Rome’s proud permanent historical heritage, the Chain Armor “Lorica Hamata” worn by ancient Rome soldiers has become a graphic basis for the design of the New Jersey.
As on the shirt, the complex chain symbolizes the unbreakable strong ties between the Rome club, the city, and the fans around the world.
AS Roma unveiled the new Nike home strip for the 2018-19 season, featuring Main Global Partner Qatar Airways.
The shirt, inspired by the ancient history of Rome, features a chainmail armour design across the front of the shirt – links that symbolise the unbreakable bond between AS Roma, the city and the club’s fans around the world.
The distinctive chainmail design – known as the lorica hamata – occupies the whole front of the shirt, giving the impression of a suit of armour as the players enter the pitch.
The same intense red completes the rest of the kit, with different tones on the sleeve adding a modern touch.
The Nike swoosh and crewneck collar add flashes of yellow, ensuring the club and city’s famous colours are on full show.
A knitted ribbon appears behind the design of a simple collar. The special yarn on the sleeve adds a bit of speed to the overall feel of the Jersey.
The team will wear the New Jersey in the May 13th serie a match against Juventus.
